Mr. Lochtefeld joined Thoroughbred in February 2022. He serves as the Business Development Manager
where he focuses on new deal sourcing and origination, underwriting, and ongoing
commercial/corporate development for new and existing portfolio companies in the agriculture sector.
Prior to joining Thoroughbred, Mr. Lochtefeld was a Financial/Business Development Analyst at Willow
Glen Terminal where he developed and managed the company’s financial models and renewable fuels
and feedstocks business development efforts. Prior to that, he was an Investment Analyst at Cambridge
Associates where he advised and managed 10+ Canadian facility offices with an aggregate AUM of
$2.5B.
Mr. Lochtefeld received a BSBA from the University of Denver in Finance and Business Analytics.
